These are the real estate statistics for Wasilla and Palmer as well as the rest of the Matanuska Susitna Borough for the week of November 19, 2012.
We are beginning to see the annual decline in inventory that always happens during the Christmas and Thanksgiving season. Very few people put their homes on the market during this time and others actually pull their houses from the market so that they don’t have to show them while family is home for the holidays.
Take a look at last weeks Memo. You can see that although the inventory is dropping, houses are still selling just as strongly as every. This means that the current sellers less competition for buyers.
In fact, this week we have had action on several listings that had almost no showings for the last several months.
If you are in a position to put your home on the market during this time give me a call. I would love to tell you about your options. We have several levels of commission for different levels of service. I’m sure one of them would be right for you.
