AHFC Closing Cost Assistance Program

The Alaska Housing Finance Corporation has a new program to help people with their closing costs.

This program called CCAP for short, pays up to 4% of the loan amount toward your closing costs or down payment. It can be combined with FHA, VA, and Rural Development, (RD), loans. If combined with VA or RD loans your move in costs can be as low as $0.00. That’s pretty low.

Right now First National Bank of Alaska is the only valley lender providing these loans. One of my buyers has already taken advantage of this.
