Sutton Elementary Gymnasium was full to capacity Tuesday night for a Department of Natural Resources hearing on Usibelli’s Coal Mine permit. The public hearing will likely last a LONG time. It appears that both the pro and anti coal people are out in numbers with the total likely favoring the pro-mining side. If everyone is allowed to speak it’s going to be a long night.
