Whew! I hope everyone survived the windstorm without any major damage. it’s always concerning when the power goes out in the middle of a wind storm and frigid temperatures. How many people vowed to make some preparations for next time? I know I did.
I’m working on a new video about the Matanuska Wind. Here is one I did 13 years ago…Matanuska Wind
The market is pretty normal..for the new normal. Which means low inventory. Last year the total was 371, it’s 366 now. So not a whole lot of difference. Interest rates are in the high 7s, which believe it or not, is close to the 30 year average…look here: 30mortgagerateaverage.pdf
If interest rates drop, or if inventory rises significantly, or if the average days on market goes up to 140+ we will see some changes. Until then, let’s get with the program! People still need to live somewhere, and people still need to sell.
