We have an election coming up folks! Next Tuesday will be a special election for the mayor of the Mat-Su Borough.
Here is the official election brochure on the borough website. There are eight candidates in the brochure but at least one has dropped out. Bruce Walden dropped out to endorse Larry Devilbiss.
I attended the mayoral forum at the Palmer Chamber of Commerce today. There was a full house.

Although there are many candidates…there is really only one obvious choice…Larry Devilbiss. If you want to know more about him check out his biography on his website. This is a very important election…make sure to take time out of your day to go vote.
Let me say it again…in many ways this election is more important that the recent general elections.
