Looking back over the last year I realized that we helped several people get into a home using the Housing Opportunity Program, (HOP). Most people don’t know about this program which can provide up to a $30,000 grant for you to get into home.

This grant is for low income people, individuals, and families. It provides a unique chance to buy a home that would never have previously worked for them.

You can combine this with a VA loan or a Rural Development loan and get 0 down as well. In fact we had a couple buyers who not only received 0 down they even received a small check at closing because of the way the property tax pro-rations worked out.
