July 3-10, 2023, Not June LOL
Well, my appointment this afternoon was cancelled because of rain, I’ll get that Rokon out this evening I think.
I took a look at last year for this week again and was surprised to notice that the average price of the houses for sale last year is higher than the average asking price this year. But we are selling few homes…but a 35% margin. The interest rates put a damper on things.
The total days on market for the houses that did sell also increase by a third. So the market is certainly slowing compared to last year. But the prices aren’t coming down. I don’t think they will come down unless we see a lot more supply. Which is one thing that we don’t have.
