We have had a lot of rain this past week. Of course we did, it was fair time. We have had flood watches but I haven’t heard of any areas actually flooding. Looking at the level of the Matanuska River it appears that it would be close.

Attached are two more photos showing the power and danger of the Matanuska River. The first one shows the first of two buildings going into the river. The second one shows the water line in 2011 under the shaded section compared to now.
