We had a 24% increase in residential sales this year. That’s huge in anybody’s book. Compare that to only a 6% increase from 2009-2012. This big of a jump in one year is very significant. Look at the chart on the bottom. And check out posts from 2012 and 2011 for comparison. The hard numbers are a little different because I used some different criteria, but the trends are the same.
I’m not sure if 2014 will look the same. I know that we are very busy here at Valley Market Real Estate. Our advice to sellers is not to wait until spring to put your house on the market. There are serious buyers out there right now. A house that is priced right and in good shape is going to get a lot of interest.
The house in the upper corner just came on the market for $212,000. Check out the video . It’s a pretty amazing house for the price.
