Five Acres On The Mat-Su River, April 28th, 2010
I finally got a chance to walk this lot. It’s quite a sleeper, it looks like a dense tangle of small spruce trees from the road, but after winding through about 300 feet of this thick spruce forest the lot opens up into old growth birch and spruce. Some of the trees are really huge, and tall. It’s one of the nicest stands of spruce I’ve seen in the area. Then it gets better, about 600 feet back the land drops off steeply so that you are standing at the edge of a bluff at least 50 feet high looking right at Pioneer Peak. This would be a fantastic spot for a cabin, or a nice house. In fact, if you had the heart to cut them all down, I think there might be enough big spruces on the land to build a nice cabin.
This is one property that you can’t judge from a drive-by. PRICE REDUCED to $65,000. Give me a call…907 232-7900
