Hi Marty,

I have been trying to contact you and found out you have started a new business of your own! Hope you are all doing well!
I have several questions for you, I am very interested to hear your opinion on solutions for long term energy here in the valley. This is one of my issues. I am running for Wasilla city council(conservative) of course and as you know like minded in family values and beliefs/ideals.

Would like to reach out to get support from home schooler families mainly in Wasilla area who are conservative and would like to be heard. I need at least 500 votes to win and I am having a fundraisor in the Regan building in the Atrium room this thursday Sept. 17 5-7. will have refreshments and share why I am running and get to know your concerns. (also will have raffle tickets to get a limo ride trip to Anchorage for my card says servant leadership and I would be the driver to who ever wins. (fun time) Could use your input. Again. Thanks for your leadership. October 6th is the voting.

Be as critical as you like, If I can't handle it I can always delete your comment. I almost never do that.

I agree with the nuclear idea. I think there are several communities looking at micro-nuclear plants here in Alaska.

I made the comment about the stone age ending because I believe the hydro-carbon age will end because we switch to a new way to produce energy...before we run out of hydro-carbons.

Coal is abundant, but burning coal puts tons of radation and other really bad things into the air... If you are concerned about Greenhouse gasses and pollution.

Wind power is to expensive for the return... Lots of mantainence little power (and think about the poor birds).

Solar power, at least solar electric panels not very effecient for the cost... The elements required for higher efficiencies are rare on the earth.

Then nuclear power is the way to go... In the past the technology behind nuclear power is prone to disaster, if not managed properly. Since then, research has shown that it is possible to build a meltdown proof reactor...

Not to be to critical, but... To make a statement about the stone age ending and there was stones...
With all due respect... If you use up all the hydro-carbons... The hydro-carbon age WILL END...

Go Nuclear!!! Go Electric!
